Praxes For Suspension Of Classes

1. Southridge automatically calls off classes when the City Government of Muntinlupa declares a  suspension of classes or PAGASA raises Signal No. 2 in Metro Manila.

2. All synchronous classes are called off.

3. Regarding modules:

a. In the Grade School, since the modules for that day/s were already uploaded during the previous  Saturday (along with all of the modules for that particular week), students may work on them, but  the deadline for submission is normally moved to the following school day* at 9:00 PM. The  deadline may further be extended because of other circumstances, e.g., the teacher needs a  class period before the module, the class suspension covers several days, etc.

b. In the High School, modules will not be uploaded for that day.

4. Students may continue to work on “backlog work,” but any submissions due on that day/s should be  moved to the following school day*, whether or not a particular subject meets on that day.

5. If ever “make up” classes and modules are arranged, these will be properly communicated to both  students and parents.

6. If the suspension of classes happens on summative assessment days, only the affected assessments  will be rescheduled. The other assessments that are not affected will be taken as scheduled.

Unit-specific announcements or accommodations will be released by the respective principals.
